Red Palmrest Touchpad Assembly 8H7HW

This genuine Dell replacement palmrest includes the touchpad, mouse buttons, power button and ribbon cables in a red finish. It fits the Vostro 1440, Inspiron 3420, Inspiron N4050 and Inspiron M4040 models. The part arrives new and ready to install.

Compatibility limited to four Dell models

The assembly only works with the specific Inspiron and Vostro chassis listed above. It will not fit other 14-inch Dell laptops or later Inspiron revisions. Buyers who need a palmrest for a different model or a different colour must source the correct part number.

Straightforward swap if cables are handled carefully

Installation requires removing the keyboard and disconnecting the ribbon cables before fitting the new assembly. The fragile flat cables tear easily if pulled at an angle. Builders who are uncomfortable with laptop disassembly should seek professional help.
