Commercial-Grade Protection for Latitude 7200

The Dell RG1220C is a 12.3-inch protective case built specifically for the Latitude 7200 2-in-1 tablet. It uses a commercial-grade polymer shell with reinforced corners to absorb impact. The case is designed for mobile workforces in healthcare, field service, retail, and education who need daily drop and scratch resistance.

Sustained Impact Resistance and Functionality

Tested to MIL-STD-810G standards, the case maintains its protective structure under repeated shock, vibration, and drop events rather than only surviving a single impact. Precision cutouts keep every port, button, speaker, camera, and stylus fully accessible during continuous use. The integrated adjustable kickstand supports multiple viewing angles for extended presentations or video calls without removal.

Thermal Neutrality and Silent Operation

The polymer construction adds no active cooling components, fans, or moving parts, so it generates zero operational noise and draws no power from the tablet. Its open-cutout design allows the device's native thermal management to function without obstruction during normal workloads. The textured grip surface remains comfortable to hold during long shifts without trapping heat against the chassis.

Questions about this item

Does the RG1220C case trap heat when the Latitude 7200 runs all day?

The commercial-grade polymer shell is open at all port and vent cutouts, so airflow matches the tablet’s own thermal design and no extra heat is retained.

What must I already own for the RG1220C to work?

A Dell Latitude 7200 2-in-1 with a 12.3 inch screen; the case is moulded to that exact model and will not fit other devices.

Will the RG1220C still fit if I keep using my older Latitude 7200 active pen and USB-C dock?

Yes — precision cutouts leave the stylus garage, all ports and the camera fully accessible, so legacy peripherals connect without removing the case.
