Dell Rotating Folio for Venue 8 3840 and 8 Pro 3845

This folio case is built for the Dell Venue 8 Model 3840 and Venue 8 Pro Model 3845. It provides a low-profile hard shell with a two-fold cover that protects both front and back surfaces. The rotating cradle lets you switch between landscape and portrait orientations for work or media viewing. All tablet ports remain accessible while the device is inside the case.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a passive protective case, the folio generates no heat and produces no audible noise during use. It draws zero power from the tablet and does not affect battery life. The hard-shell construction adds a thin layer of insulation without trapping heat from the device. Normal operation of the tablet is unchanged when the folio is attached.

Bundled accessories and software

No additional accessories, cables, or software are included with the folio case. The product consists solely of the rotating folio unit itself. All functionality — protection, stand conversion, rotation, and port access — is provided by the physical design of the case. There are no companion apps, drivers, or firmware updates to install.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Venue 8 3840 into the rotating cradle of the E-NJXFG folio?

Slide the tablet into the hard-shell cradle until it seats securely; the cradle then rotates inside the two-fold cover for landscape or portrait viewing.

What maintenance or replacement will the E-NJXFG folio need over time?

The folio has no user-serviceable parts; if the hinge stiffens or the cover material wears, replace the entire folio.

What is the first limitation that appears when the E-NJXFG folio is used continuously as a stand?

The two-fold cover relies on friction to hold viewing angles; after extended use the hinge tension may relax, causing the stand to slip.
