Slimline SATA optical drive

The Dell RU774 is a 24X Slimline SATA internal CDRW DVDROM combo drive. It reads and writes CDs and reads DVDs in a slim form factor. The unit is supplied new and connects via a standard SATA interface.

Fits slim bays with SATA

This drive occupies a single slimline 5.25-inch bay and requires an available SATA data port plus a matching power connector. It frees a full-height bay for other components and suits systems that only accept slim optical units. Builders needing Blu-ray write capability or a full-height bezel should look elsewhere.
