Questions about this item

How does the SATA optical cable affect drive performance once installed in an OptiPlex 9010?

The cable carries the standard SATA signal between the motherboard and the optical drive so the drive runs at its rated SATA speed.

What SATA standard does the PPX7R cable support and what throughput does that limit the drive to?

The cable is built to the SATA specification used in the OptiPlex 9010 and Inspiron One 2330, so the drive is limited to that generation's maximum transfer rate.
