Included R Series caddy

The supplied tray fits Dell R Series drive bays so the drive can be mounted without extra hardware. No additional cables, brackets or software utilities are provided in the package. The caddy simply adapts the 2.5-inch form factor to the chassis slot. ||

Straightforward 2.5-inch SAS installation

Slide the drive into the caddy, secure the screws and insert the assembly into a compatible SAS backplane. The SAS connector is keyed to prevent misalignment. Installers must ensure the host system supports 6 Gb/s SAS and provides adequate cooling for a 7200 RPM mechanism.
