Genuine Dell 14" LCD Back Cover for Studio 1457

This original equipment manufacturer lid assembly fits Dell Studio 1457 and 1458 laptops. It arrives in the Horizon Purple colour with the part number RVTGY. The unit includes both left and right hinges plus wireless antenna cables already installed.

For owners repairing a cracked lid on a Studio

Buyers needing a replacement for a different Dell model or a different screen size should look elsewhere. The package does not contain the front display bezel, so anyone requiring that trim piece must source it separately.

Direct swap using existing screw points

Installation involves removing the old lid, transferring any remaining small parts, and securing the new assembly with the original fasteners. The most common issue is damaging the fragile antenna cables while routing them through the hinge channels.
