Genuine Dell Studio 1457 1458 Lid Assembly

This genuine Dell pink 14" LCD back cover includes the left and right hinges plus wireless antenna cables. It is built for the Dell Studio 1457 and 1458 laptops and carries Dell part number D2F5X. The trim bezel is not supplied.

Pink finish and integrated hinges

The assembly arrives in a pink colourway with hinges already fitted, so the lid can be swapped without sourcing separate hinge parts. Antenna cables are routed inside the cover for wireless connectivity. The package excludes the front screen bezel, which must be reused or bought separately.

Direct replacement for Studio 1457 and 1458

Fitment is limited to the two listed Studio models; other Dell 14" chassis will not align with the hinge mounts or antenna routing. Buyers needing a complete lid with bezel or a different colour should look elsewhere. No other laptop series is supported by this part number.

Questions about this item

Will the 14" pink LCD back cover with hinges fit my existing Dell Studio 1457 chassis without modification?

Yes, the D2F5X assembly is made for the Studio 1457 and 1458 and includes left and right hinges that mount directly to the original chassis screw points.

How can I confirm the wireless antenna cables are seated correctly after installing the replacement lid?

After fitting the cover, check that both antenna cables run cleanly through the hinge channels and that Wi‑Fi signal strength returns to normal levels in the OS network panel.

Does the pink back cover assembly come with the screen bezel or do I need to order it separately?

The D2F5X unit supplies the lid, hinges and antenna cables only; no trim bezel is included, so you must reuse your existing bezel or source a matching one separately.
