Replacement LCD Back Cover for Dell Studio 15 Series

This graphite grey lid assembly fits Dell Studio 1535, 1536 and 1537 notebooks with 15.4 inch displays. It arrives new with left and right hinges, wireless antenna cables, the power button with cable and the WiFi catcher button and circuit board already installed. The trim bezel is not included.

Capacity and headroom

The part restores the original structural integrity and wireless routing of the laptop lid, allowing the screen assembly to open and close as designed. It does not add extra hinge stiffness, additional antenna gain or any mounting points beyond the factory layout, so users needing reinforced hinges or extra antenna connectors will not find them here.

Build quality and daily implications

Moulded in graphite grey plastic with red trim accents, the cover matches the Studio chassis colour scheme and clips into the existing screw posts without modification. Pre-fitted hinges and routed cables reduce reassembly time, while the integrated power and WiFi catcher buttons keep front-panel functionality identical to the original unit.

Questions about this item

Will the P557X lid fit my Studio 1535 without modifying the existing hinges?

The P557X cover includes left and right hinges pre-installed, so the original hinges are not reused.

How can I confirm the wireless antennas and WiFi catcher button are functional after installation?

Connect the antenna cables to the Wi‑Fi card and verify signal strength; press the WiFi catcher button to see the LED indicator light.

Does the P557X package contain the front display bezel or do I need to order it separately?

The listing states no trim bezel is included, so the front bezel must be sourced separately.
