Genuine Dell Studio Base Frame

This genuine Dell OEM bottom base frame fits the Studio 1535, 1536 and 1537 laptop models. It provides the structural plastic chassis with an integrated metal alloy motherboard tray. The part carries Dell part number K319D and includes the battery latch mechanism. It is intended for repair technicians and owners replacing a cracked or damaged lower case.

Installation Notes

Replacing the base frame requires a near-complete teardown of the laptop to move the motherboard, drives and other modules onto the new chassis. The part ships without screws or the various door and cover pieces, so the original hardware must be reused. Careful cable routing and correct screw placement are the most common stumbling points during reassembly.

Who Should Buy This

This frame suits anyone restoring a Dell Studio 1535, 1536 or 1537 to working order with an authentic Dell component. It is not suitable for other Dell series or non-Dell laptops, and buyers needing a complete bottom cover assembly with doors included will need to source those pieces separately.
