Genuine Dell Studio XPS 1340 base frame

This genuine Dell OEM bottom base frame replaces the original chassis on a Studio XPS 13 (1340) laptop. It combines plastic and metal alloy construction to match the factory design. The part number GGHNK confirms exact compatibility with this specific model. The frame includes the battery latch mechanism for immediate function.

Structural rigidity under daily handling

The metal alloy reinforcement maintains chassis stiffness when the laptop is carried or rested on uneven surfaces. It resists flex that can stress internal components during sustained transport or desk use. The integrated battery latch holds the battery securely through repeated insertions and removals. This frame restores the original load-bearing capacity of the laptop body.

Direct replacement requiring existing hardware

Installation uses the original screw holes and mounting points already present on the laptop. Screws and door covers are not included, so you must reuse the hardware removed from the old frame. Missing or damaged screws are the most common issue that delays the repair. Align the latch and ports carefully before tightening to avoid stress on the new plastic sections.
