Magenta Drum for Dell 5130cdn and 5765dn

The DELL T229N is a magenta imaging drum cartridge designed for the Dell 5130cdn and 5765dn colour laser printers. It supplies the photoconductive component required for magenta toner transfer. Offices and workgroups using these specific models rely on it for consistent colour output.

Installation and Compatibility

The cartridge installs directly into the designated drum slot of the Dell 5130cdn or 5765dn without additional tools or adapters. It works alongside the separate magenta toner cartridge, freeing the toner supply from photoconductor wear. Buyers with other Dell printers or third-party machines cannot use this drum.

Operating Characteristics

As a non-powered mechanical component, the drum draws no electricity and produces no audible noise during printer operation. Its rated yield is 50000 pages at five percent coverage, after which print quality may decline. Thermal behaviour is managed entirely by the printer's internal fuser and cooling system.
