5U rack server with four 480 GB SATA SSDs, 32 GB DDR4, Intel E-2374G and H755 RAID controller
The Dell PowerEdge T350 is a 5U rack server built around a single Intel E-2374G processor running at 3.7 GHz with four cores and 8 MB cache. It ships with 32 GB of DDR4 memory in a four-by-eight-gigabyte configuration at 3200 MT/s. The system includes four 480 GB SATA SSDs managed by an H755 RAID controller and a 600 W redundant power supply. Remote management is provided by iDRAC9 Enterprise with OpenManage Enterprise Advanced Plus.
This server suits organisations that need up to eight 3.5-inch drive bays for future capacity growth and value integrated remote management. The dual 1 GbE onboard ports and dual SD module with a 16 GB card support basic network redundancy and boot flexibility. Buyers who require more than one processor, faster network links or additional PCIe Gen 4.0 lanes should evaluate other platforms.
The installed processor delivers four cores at 3.7 GHz with 8 MB cache and cannot be upgraded to a higher core count within this chassis. Workloads that demand more parallel threads will be constrained by this limit.

The 5U chassis provides eight 3.5" drive bays, so a 5U rack space is needed to mount the server.
Install the H755 in one of the two PCIe Gen 4.0 slots, then connect the controller to the backplane; forgetting to attach the backplane cables is the step most often missed.
Plan to replace the four 480GB SATA SSDs after their rated write endurance is reached and swap the 16GB SD card when it shows wear or capacity limits.
