5U rack server with eight-core Intel E-2388G, 16GB DDR4, four 4TB 7.2K SATA drives and H755 RAID controller
The Dell PowerEdge T350 is a 5U rack server built around a single Intel E-2388G processor with eight cores running at 3.2 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory in a dual-channel configuration and includes four 4 TB 7.2K SATA drives managed by an H755 RAID controller. The platform targets small-business workloads such as file serving, virtualisation hosts or local databases that need internal storage capacity and out-of-band management.
The chassis provides eight 3.5-inch drive bays so the four installed drives can be expanded without adding external enclosures. A 600 W redundant power supply keeps the system running if one module fails. Onboard Broadcom dual 1 GbE ports handle network traffic while iDRAC9 Enterprise with OpenManage Enterprise Advanced+ gives administrators remote console, power control and firmware update access over a dedicated management network. Two PCIe 4.0 slots and two PCIe 3.0 slots are available for additional controllers or accelerators.
Organisations moving from a tower workstation or a server with only one or two drives gain redundant storage, remote management and hot-swap bays in a single rack unit. The jump is worthwhile when uptime requirements exceed what a single power supply or software RAID can deliver. Buyers who need more than eight internal drives or higher-speed networking than dual 1 GbE should evaluate larger platforms.

The server provides two PCIe Gen 4.0 slots and two Gen 3.0 PCIe slots for add-in cards.
The chassis supports up to eight 3.5-inch drives, with four 4 TB SATA drives already installed.
The H755 controller comes pre-installed and configured with the four 4 TB drives; the step often missed is importing the foreign configuration if the drives were moved from another system.
