A 5U rack server with an 8-core Intel E-2388G at 3.2 GHz, 8 GB DDR4, four 1.92 TB SATA SSDs on an H755 controller and iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management
This Dell PowerEdge T350 is a 5U rack server built around a single Intel E-2388G processor running at 3.2 GHz with eight cores and 16 MB cache. It ships with 8 GB of DDR4 memory in one PC4-3200 module and four 1.92 TB SATA SSDs managed by an H755 RAID controller. A 600 W redundant power supply, iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management, dual 1 GbE onboard ports, a TPM 2.0 module and a dual SD reader with a 16 GB card complete the configuration.
The eight-core CPU and 8 TB of flash storage fit workloads such as file serving, light virtualization or database tasks that benefit from redundant power and hardware RAID. Buyers who need more than 8 GB of RAM out of the box, who require additional PCIe Gen 4.0 lanes beyond the two slots provided, or who need higher network throughput than dual 1 GbE should evaluate other platforms.
Only one 8 GB DDR4 DIMM is installed, so the system runs in single-channel mode until further modules are added. This single specification determines whether the server can handle your intended workload immediately or whether a memory upgrade must be planned before deployment.

Seat the H755 in a PCIe Gen 4.0 slot, connect the SATA cables from the four 1.92TB SSDs to the controller ports, then configure the virtual disks in the H755 BIOS before installing the OS.
The 16GB SD card wears with write cycles; replace it when iDRAC9 reports media errors or after a firmware update fails to commit.
The 600W ceiling caps total draw; adding drives or PCIe cards beyond the four installed SSDs can trigger throttling or shutdown before thermal limits are reached.
