Questions about this item

How do I install a memory upgrade on the Pro 16 PC16255, and what step is often missed?

The Pro 16 PC16255 ships with 16GB DDR5 SDRAM soldered to the board; there is no SO-DIMM slot, so the step people miss is checking that the memory cannot be upgraded after purchase.

What maintenance or replacement will the Pro 16 PC16255 need over time?

The 3-cell battery is rated for 11.10 hours run time and will degrade with charge cycles; plan to replace the battery module when run time drops below your needs.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy workloads on the Pro 16 PC16255?

The Ryzen AI 7 350 reaches its 5 GHz turbo under load, and the thin 0.82-inch chassis limits heat dissipation, so thermal throttling is the first constraint you will hit.
