Dell U0842 Quadro FX500 128MB AGP Card

The Dell U0842 is a workstation graphics card built around the NVIDIA Quadro FX500 GPU with 128MB of DDR memory on a 128-bit bus. It connects via an AGP 8x slot and provides both DVI and VGA outputs for professional display setups. This card targets users maintaining or upgrading legacy AGP-based workstations.

Limits of AGP 8x and 128MB Memory

The 128MB frame buffer and AGP 8x interface restrict this card to older professional applications and basic multi-monitor desktop work. It is not suitable for modern 3D workloads, high-resolution textures, or systems that only offer PCI Express slots. Buyers needing contemporary driver support or GPU compute capabilities should consider current-generation hardware.
