Genuine Dell Venue 8 Pro 5855 Display Assembly

This new genuine Dell assembly replaces the touchscreen LED LCD top section on the Venue 8 Pro 5855 tablet. It carries part number GNY1W and matches the original 8 inch 16:10 panel with a 1920x1200 pixel resolution. The component restores factory display quality for a damaged or non‑responsive screen.

Suited for owners repairing a cracked Venue 8 Pro

Buyers needing a replacement for a different Dell tablet model or a larger screen size should look elsewhere. This assembly fits only the Venue 8 Pro 5855 and will not align with other Venue 8 variants or unrelated devices. Technicians seeking a bare LCD without the touch layer or bezel will not find that configuration here.

Direct swap for the factory top assembly

Installation requires disassembling the tablet chassis, disconnecting the old flex cables and seating the new unit in the original mounting points. Common issues include damaging the fragile ribbon connectors during removal or trapping dust between the glass and panel during reassembly. Patience and a clean workspace prevent most fitment problems.
