17-Inch LCD Back Cover for Vostro 1700

This genuine Dell replacement panel fits the Vostro 1700 laptop chassis. It restores the original structural integrity of the display lid assembly. Technicians and owners repairing cracked or damaged covers will find the correct fitment. The part arrives new and ready for installation.

Includes Hinges Latch and Antenna Cables

The bundle supplies the hinge brackets, display latch mechanism and wireless antenna cables in one piece. Installers do not need to salvage these small parts from the old lid. Missing or broken hinge mounts and antenna leads are resolved simultaneously. This reduces reassembly time and prevents signal loss.

Questions about this item

Will the hinges or latch on this UU247 lid cover wear out and need replacement?

The hinges and latch are integrated into the back cover; if they fail the whole panel would be swapped rather than serviced separately.

What fails first on this Vostro 1700 lid when the laptop is opened and closed repeatedly?

Repeated flexing stresses the hinge brackets moulded into the plastic and the wireless antenna cables routed through them, so those points show wear before the panel itself cracks.
