It adds three USB 3.0 ports, two USB-C ports, two DisplayPort outputs, one HDMI output and a Gigabit Ethernet jack. Windows, Mac and Linux hosts are all supported without extra drivers.

Drives one 5K panel or two 4K screens simultaneously

Video bandwidth handles one 5K display or two 4K displays at once, and the spec sheet notes support for up to four screens in total. Three USB 3.0 ports and two USB-C ports give enough headroom for keyboard, mouse, external storage and a couple of bus-powered peripherals. The single HDMI port limits you to one HDMI-native monitor without an adapter.
