Dell WF12F 1TB 7200 RPM SATA drive

The Dell WF12F is a 1TB 2.5-inch SATA hard drive spinning at 7200 RPM with a 64 MB cache. It ships inside a Dell PowerEdge R620 SFF tray so it fits directly into the server's hot-swap bays. The drive uses a SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface and 512-byte sectors for broad compatibility.

Suits PowerEdge R620 SFF bays.

This unit is built for administrators who need a replacement or spare 1TB drive that installs without extra caddies in a PowerEdge R620 small-form-factor chassis. It will not fit 3.5-inch bays, systems that require a different tray, or workloads that demand capacities beyond 1TB.

SATA 6.0 Gb/s interface and included R620 tray

The drive connects through a standard SATA 6.0 Gb/s link and comes pre-mounted in the correct Dell 2.5-inch PowerEdge R620 tray. That combination of interface and tray determines whether the part slides straight into the server or needs additional hardware.
