Zero Client All-in-One

The Dell Wyse AIO N01A-5050 is a 24 inch zero client built around a TERADICHI processor for VMware Horizon PCoIP environments. It ships as a complete unit with an integrated display and a power adapter, removing the need for a separate tower or thin client chassis. IT teams deploy it where local processing and storage are deliberately excluded.

Desk-Ready Integration

The all-in-one form factor occupies a single footprint on the desk and connects to the corporate network through one Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port. Six USB ports and two audio jacks handle peripherals such as keyboards, mice, headsets and smart-card readers without extra hubs. DVI and VGA outputs are available if a second monitor is required. No internal drive bays or expansion slots are present, so the device adds no local maintenance burden.

Sustained Session Stability

With zero local RAM and zero flash capacity, the unit streams every compute cycle from the data centre, so its own thermal load stays constant regardless of workload intensity. The 1920 x 1080 panel runs at 60 Hz with a 2000:1 contrast ratio, delivering a steady image throughout full-shift sessions. Because no applications execute on the endpoint, performance does not degrade over time and there are no local logs or caches to clear.

Questions about this item

Does the 24" panel run at 124 Hz or 60 Hz under sustained use?

The display panel is specified at 1920 x 1080 x 124 @ 60 Hz, so the refresh rate remains 60 Hz during continuous operation.

How much heat or fan noise does the Teradici processor generate when running all day?

The unit has no local storage and relies on a passive design; with only a power adapter and Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 active, heat and noise stay minimal.

Must I already have a VMware Horizon infrastructure for this zero client to function?

Yes, the device ships with VMware Horizon as its operating system and requires a compatible Horizon connection server to deliver desktops over PCoIP.
