Dell X7570 CD-RW Drive for Dimension Systems

The Dell X7570 is a new internal CD-RW drive designed for Dimension desktop computers. It connects through a standard IDE interface and fits a 5.25 inch drive bay. The unit writes CD-R media at 48X speed, rewrites CD-RW media at 32X speed and reads CDs at 48X speed.

Upgrading from slower or read-only optical drives

This drive replaces older CD-ROM or slower CD-RW units that cannot write discs or operate at lower speeds. The jump is worth it when you need faster disc burning, reliable CD-RW rewriting or a direct IDE replacement for a failed drive in a compatible Dimension chassis.
