What the Dell XPS 13 Plus 9320 is for

This 13.4 inch ultraportable pairs a 12 core Intel Core i7-1260P processor with 16GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe drive. The 3.5K OLED touchscreen covers creative work and media consumption, while Windows 11 Home runs business applications. Buyers who need discrete graphics or more storage capacity should look elsewhere.

Thermals noise and power in daily use

A 60 Watt USB Type-C adapter charges the 55 WHr three cell battery. The chassis measures 15.28 mm thin and weighs 1.26 kg, so fan activity stays audible only under sustained load. Integrated Iris Xe graphics keep power draw modest during typical office tasks and video playback.

Build quality ports and everyday implications

The silver aluminium body houses two Thunderbolt 4 ports that carry DisplayPort and Power Delivery. A USB-C to USB-A 3.0 adapter and a USB-C to 3.5 mm headset adapter are included. An IR camera enables Windows Hello, while a fingerprint reader sits beside the platinum backlit keyboard. Killer Wi-Fi 6E 1675 handles wireless connectivity.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Dell XPS 13 Plus 9320 and what step is often missed?

Connect the 60 Watt Type-C adapter to either Thunderbolt 4 port for power; the step often missed is plugging the included USB-C to USB-A 3.0 adapter before attaching legacy peripherals.

What maintenance or replacement will the 55 WHr battery need later?

The integrated 3-cell 55 WHr lithium-ion battery is not user-replaceable; plan for a Dell-authorised service swap once runtime drops below your workflow needs.

What limit appears first on the i7-1260P under sustained heavy load?

The 28 W base power envelope of the 12-core i7-1260P triggers thermal throttling before the 55 WHr battery or cooling solution reaches its ceiling.
