What this laptop is

The Dell XPS 9320 Plus is a 13.4-inch Windows 11 Home ultraportable with a 3456x2160 OLED touchscreen. It runs on a 12-core Intel Core i7-1260P processor that reaches 4.7 GHz with Turbo Boost, paired with 16 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD. Integrated graphics handle the display output. The chassis weighs 1.26 kg and measures 15.28 mm in height.

Practical limits of the platform

Integrated graphics share system memory and thermal budget with the processor, so sustained 3D workloads or heavy video encoding will throttle faster than a discrete GPU. The 802.11ac wireless link caps throughput below newer Wi-Fi standards, which can bottleneck large cloud syncs or local NAS transfers. The 512 GB SSD offers no secondary drive bay, so storage expansion requires external drives or cloud offload.

Installation and common issues

Windows 11 Home arrives pre-installed, so the machine boots to a ready desktop after the first-run setup. Driver updates are delivered through Windows Update and the Dell SupportAssist utility. The fixed 16 GB memory cannot be upgraded later, and the SSD uses a proprietary form factor that limits DIY replacement. OLED panels may show temporary image retention if static UI elements remain at maximum brightness for extended periods.

Questions about this item

Which configuration is this model — are there other screen or storage options?

This unit is the 13.4-inch 3456x2160 OLED touchscreen version with a 512GB SSD and 16GB of RAM.

What does the 4.7 GHz turbo frequency deliver in everyday work?

The 12-core i7-1260P reaches 4.7 GHz on short bursts, giving quick response for heavy multitasking and compile jobs before thermals limit sustained clocks.

The spec lists 802.11ac wireless — what does that cap in practice?

802.11ac tops out at the throughput ceiling of that standard, so real-world wireless speed will not exceed what the protocol allows.
