Genuine Dell XPS 13 Bottom Cover

This genuine Dell bottom base metal cover assembly replaces the original chassis on XPS 13 9350 and 9360 ultrabooks. It restores structural rigidity and the factory gray finish for owners whose lower case is dented, cracked or missing rubber feet. The part includes the centre badge and pre-fitted rubber feet so the laptop sits level on a desk again.

Straightforward swap with common pitfalls

Installation requires removing every internal component down to the motherboard, so a clean workspace and magnetic tray for screws are essential. The most frequent issues are stripped Torx heads on the hinge screws, forgotten antenna or speaker cables, and the centre badge adhesive failing if the surface is not degreased before pressing it on. Take photos at each stage to simplify reassembly.

Fixed design limits upgrade scope

The cover is moulded for the exact port layout and battery shape of the 9350 and 9360 models, so it cannot accommodate larger batteries, additional ports or aftermarket cooling modifications. Buyers needing a different colour, extra ventilation cut-outs or a chassis for another Dell series must source a different part number.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the bottom base cover assembly is fitted correctly on my XPS 9350 or 9360?

After installation, confirm the part sits flush with the chassis, all screw holes align with the frame, and the included rubber feet make full contact with the desk surface.

Which components are supplied with the NKRWG cover assembly and which items must be sourced separately?

The assembly ships with rubber feet and the centre badge already attached; screws, internal brackets, and any thermal pads are not included and must be obtained separately.
