15.6" FHD+ 2-in-1 Workstation

The Dell XPS 9510 is a 15.6-inch convertible laptop built for professionals who need a portable workstation with dedicated graphics. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an eight-core Intel Core i7-11800H processor with a 4.60 GHz turbo frequency. The 1920 x 1200 non-touch display offers a 16:10 aspect ratio in a platinum silver chassis.

8 GB System Memory

This unit ships with 8 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. The memory capacity is the primary constraint for heavy multitasking or large dataset workloads. Buyers who need more memory for virtual machines, video timelines or complex rendering should verify upgrade options before purchase.

USB-C DisplayPort and SD Reader

Connectivity centres on a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with DisplayPort and Power Delivery support, a full-size SD card reader v6.0 and a 3.5 mm combo jack. The wedge-shaped lock slot adds physical security. The slim 0.71-inch profile and 3.99 lb starting weight leave room in a bag for peripherals.

Questions about this item

How does the 4.6 GHz turbo frequency of the i7-11800H affect everyday performance?

The eight-core Intel Core i7-11800H reaches 4.6 GHz on turbo boost, so demanding tasks like video editing or compiling code run faster than at the 2.3 GHz base clock.

What does the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port with DisplayPort and PowerDelivery support?

That single Type-C port carries data at up to 10 Gbps, drives an external display via DisplayPort alt mode, and charges the laptop through PowerDelivery.

Will the 15.6 inch chassis fit in a standard 15 inch laptop sleeve?

The XPS 9510 measures 13.57 by 9.06 by 0.71 inches, so it is slightly wider than many 15 inch sleeves; check the sleeve's internal dimensions before buying.
