17-inch 4K touch laptop

The Dell XPS 9730 is a 17-inch laptop with a 3840 x 2400 touchscreen, an Intel Core i7 13th Gen 14-core processor reaching 5 GHz turbo and 64 GB of memory. A dedicated GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU with 8 GB GDDR6X handles graphics workloads. Windows 11 Home is preinstalled on a 4000 GB SSD.

Creative professionals needing GPU memory

This configuration suits editors and designers who need a large colour-accurate touch display and 8 GB of dedicated video memory for timeline scrubbing or 3D viewport work. Buyers who want more video memory for heavy GPU compute should look at something else.

8 GB GDDR6X on the RTX 4070

The single specification that decides fit is the 8 GB GDDR6X frame buffer on the GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. It sets the ceiling for texture-heavy scenes and multi-monitor 4K output, so confirm that capacity matches your pipeline before purchase.
