Genuine Dell OEM Replacement Lid

This is a genuine Dell OEM replacement part for the XPS M1530 15.4 inch laptop. It arrives new and includes the pink plastic back cover assembly with both left and right hinges pre-attached. Wireless antenna cables and the camera cable are also integrated into the assembly. The part number is P310F.

LED Backlight Compatibility Only

This lid assembly fits only XPS M1530 systems equipped with LED backlit displays. It will not work on models that use CCFL backlight technology. Buyers must verify their screen type using the service manual or service tag before ordering. Installing this part on an incompatible system will prevent the display from functioning correctly.

Pink Colour Finish

The cover features a distinct pink finish that matches the original chassis colour option. Buyers needing a different colour or a lid for a CCFL display will need to source an alternative part. This assembly restores the original appearance and hinge mechanism for compatible LED models only.

Questions about this item

Is the pink lid the correct version for my XPS M1530 with an LED display?

Yes, this genuine Dell OEM part number P310F is built specifically for the XPS M1530 15.4" models that use LED backlighting; it will not fit CCFL-backlit versions.

What does the 15.4 inch size mean when the lid is installed on the laptop?

The 15.4 inch measurement matches the diagonal of the XPS M1530 screen, so the cover aligns with the display bezel, hinge points, wireless antenna cables and camera cable without gaps.

Which mounting standard does the hinge assembly follow for the XPS M1530 chassis?

The included left and right hinges use the factory Dell mounting pattern for the M1530, securing directly to the existing screw bosses on the base and lid.
