DELTA Ceramcoat Acrylic Paint Blue Jay Opaque 2 oz

Perfect for Creative Projects

DELTA Ceramcoat Acrylic Paint in Blue Jay Opaque is a 2 oz bottle designed for fine art and craft painting. The creamy, smooth consistency provides rich, vibrant color with one-coat coverage on a wide variety of hard surfaces. It dries to a uniform, matte, permanent finish that is non-toxic and safe for children to use. Ideal for artists and crafters working on wood, plaster, resin, or bisque.

Check Your Surface and Supplies

Before ordering, confirm your project surface is compatible; the paint works best on wood, paper-mache, primed metal, plaster, resin, and bisque. For fabric applications, you must mix the paint with Delta Ceramcoat Textile Medium, which is sold separately. Ensure you have soapy water available for easy clean-up while the paint is still wet. Colors can be mixed together to create custom shades for your specific design needs.

Integrates into Your Craft Workflow

This water-based acrylic fits into a build by providing a permanent, matte layer that dries to the touch in 30 minutes, allowing for quick project progression. It frees you from harsh solvents since brushes and tools clean up easily with just soapy water. The opaque formula covers underlying layers effectively, reducing the need for multiple coats on prepared surfaces. It serves as a reliable base for mixed-media work.
