Product Identity

This Deltana Enterprises flush bolt is a 7‑inch heavy‑duty door hardware piece finished in polished brass. It is designed to secure the inactive leaf of a pair of doors by engaging strikes at the top and bottom of the frame. The solid brass construction resists corrosion and suits interior or protected exterior openings.

Who This Suits

Installers fitting double doors who need a durable, surface‑mounted bolt with a bright brass appearance will find it appropriate. It is not for buyers who want an automatic or self‑latching mechanism, those requiring a longer throw than the standard 7‑inch length, or projects specifying a satin, oil‑rubbed or stainless finish instead of polished brass.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 7 in flush bolt on my door, and what step is often missed?

Mortise the bolt body into the door edge, then fasten the face plate with the supplied screws; the step often missed is chiselling a clean, square pocket so the bolt sits flush and operates smoothly.

What maintenance will the polished brass flush bolt need over time?

Wipe the bright brass finish with a soft cloth; if tarnish appears, apply a brass polish and buff lightly — no lubrication is required for the bolt mechanism.
