4-inch Solid Brass Kickdown Holder

This kickdown holder secures a door in an open position using a foot-operated mechanism. It is built from solid brass with an oil-rubbed bronze finish for corrosion resistance. The unit suits residential or light-commercial doors where a hands-free hold-open is required.

Check door thickness and mounting surface

Verify that the door stile and frame provide enough flat area for the supplied fasteners. Confirm the finish matches existing hardware before installation. Ensure the floor clearance allows the kickdown arm to flip down without striking flooring or a threshold.

Questions about this item

Does the 4 inch kickdown holder come with mounting screws or must I buy them separately?

The holder is supplied as a single solid brass piece with an oil rubbed bronze finish; mounting hardware is not included so you will need suitable screws for your door or frame.

Should I choose the 4 inch model or a different length for a standard interior door?

This version measures 4 inches and is the only size offered in the DHK4U10B listing, so select it when that length matches the clearance and hold‑open angle you need.
