Solid Brass 12 Inch Flush Bolt

This solid brass extension flush bolt secures the inactive leaf of a double door or tall window. The 12 inch stainless steel rod reaches high or low mounting positions without stretching. Homeowners and contractors fitting period-style hardware will appreciate the traditional oil rubbed bronze finish.

Verify Door Thickness and Prep

Check that your door edge has the standard mortise pocket for a flush bolt body. Confirm the 12 inch rod length matches the distance from the bolt body to the floor strike or head jamb strike. Ensure the strike plates supplied suit your threshold and jamb material before installation.

Brass Body With Stainless Rod

The solid brass body resists corrosion while the stainless steel extension rod adds strength for daily operation. Oil rubbed bronze darkens naturally with use, blending into traditional hardware sets. The flush mount sits level with the door edge, preventing snags and allowing smooth, quiet latching over years of service.
