Application Fit

The black plastic pole cap fits 3-1/2 inch round tubing with an inner diameter between 3 and 3-3/8 inches. It snaps into the top of the pole and locks using specially designed metal straps that accommodate a range of wall thicknesses. This makes it suitable for outdoor lighting poles, basketball goal posts, and plastic or metal fence posts. The cap protects the tube interior from weather and debris.

Build Integration

The cap installs without tools by pressing into the tube opening until the metal straps engage the inner wall. It requires no adhesive, fasteners, or modifications to the pole. The design frees installers from drilling or welding end closures and works across varying tube gauges within the stated diameter range. It is intended for vertical pole tops exposed to the elements.

Long-Term Exposure

The UV-stable plastic resists degradation from prolonged sunlight, maintaining structural integrity and colour over extended outdoor use.
