Pole Cap for 4" Round Tubing

The Deltech Fitness pole cap fits 4-inch round tubing with an inner diameter between 3-1/2 and 3-7/8 inches. It snaps into the top of the pole and locks in place with specially designed metal straps. This design allows the cap to accommodate a range of tube or pipe thicknesses. It is intended for outdoor lighting poles, basketball goal posts, fence posts and similar applications.

UV-Stable Black Plastic Construction

The cap is made from UV-stable black plastic that resists degradation from prolonged sun exposure. Deltech Manufacturing has produced these caps for the outdoor lighting industry for more than 40 years. The material choice helps the cap last a long time in outdoor environments. No thermal, noise or power-draw characteristics apply to this passive component.

Snap-In Fit With Metal Straps

The cap installs by snapping into the pole top and securing with the integrated metal straps. This method requires no adhesives or separate fasteners. It frees the installer from needing specialised tools or sealants. Buyers who need caps for square tubing, non-standard diameters or threaded connections will need a different product.

Questions about this item

How do the metal straps lock this cap onto a 4" round pole?

The cap snaps into the pole top and the specially designed metal straps expand to grip the inner wall, securing it across the 3-1/2" to 3-7/8" inner diameter range.

Will the black plastic fade or become brittle after years in direct sunlight?

The UV-stable material is formulated to resist degradation from prolonged sun exposure, and Deltech Manufacturing has supplied similar caps to the outdoor lighting industry for over 40 years.

At what point does the fit become too loose for the straps to hold securely?

The metal straps are engineered to lock across the full 3-1/2" to 3-7/8" inner diameter range; poles outside that tolerance may not retain the cap reliably.
