Square pole cap for 4" tubing

This black plastic cap fits 4" square tubing with a .75" radius corner and a 3-1/2" inside measurement. It snaps into the top of the pole and locks with metal straps to suit various wall thicknesses. The UV-stable material is built for long outdoor life. Deltech Manufacturing has produced these caps for the lighting industry for 40 years.

Practical limits of the snap-fit design

The cap relies on internal straps to grip the tube wall, so it accommodates a range of thicknesses without tools. It covers the tube end to shed water and debris in lighting poles, basketball goals, and fence posts. The plastic construction will not rust or corrode in wet conditions. No adhesive or fasteners are required for installation.

UV-stable plastic for outdoor durability

The material resists ultraviolet degradation, keeping the cap from becoming brittle or fading after years of sun exposure. This single specification determines whether the part survives permanent outdoor mounting. Buyers who need a cap for indoor-only use or a different corner profile should look elsewhere.
