5-1/2" Round Pole Cap

The Deltech Fitness 5-1/2" Round Pole Cap Black is a protective cover for outdoor tubing. It fits round poles with an inner diameter between 5 inches and 5-3/8 inches. The cap suits lighting posts, basketball goals, and fence posts. It is built for long-term exposure to the elements.

UV-Stable Black Plastic

The cap uses UV-stable black plastic to resist sun damage and weathering. This material choice supports durability across seasons without cracking or fading. The design requires no external power and produces no noise or heat. It maintains its protective function passively once installed.

Snap-In Design with Metal Straps

The cap snaps into the top of the pole and locks via integrated metal straps. This mechanism accommodates a range of tube or pipe wall thicknesses. It secures the cap against wind and vibration without tools. Deltech Manufacturing has produced these caps for the outdoor lighting industry for more than 40 years.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Deltech Fitness pole cap and which step is often missed?

Snap the cap into the top of the 5-1/2 inch round tubing and ensure the metal straps lock securely; the step people miss is fully engaging those straps so the cap cannot lift off.

What maintenance or replacement will the pole cap need later?

The UV-stable black plastic resists weathering for years; inspect the metal straps periodically and replace the cap if the straps loosen or the plastic shows cracking.

What limit appears first under sustained outdoor use?

The metal locking straps may fatigue before the UV-stable plastic degrades, especially on poles that flex in wind.
