Questions about this item

Will the cap fit the 5-inch square tubing I already have installed?

The cap fits 5-inch square tubing with sharp corners and an inside measurement of 4-1/2 inches, snapping into place with metal straps that lock across a range of tube thicknesses.

How can I verify the cap is seated correctly after installation?

Push the cap down until the metal straps click into the tube interior; the cap should sit flush with the top edge and resist upward pull.

Does the package include the metal locking straps or must I buy them separately?

The specially designed metal straps are built into the cap, so no separate hardware is required for installation.
