Fits 6" Round Tubing

This black plastic pole cap is designed for 6 inch round tubing with an inner diameter between 5-1/2 and 5-7/8 inches. It snaps into the top of the pole and locks in place with specially designed metal straps. The fit accommodates a range of tube or pipe thicknesses. It suits outdoor lighting poles, basketball goals, fence posts and similar applications.

UV-Stable Durability

The cap is made from UV-stable materials built to withstand outdoor environments for long service life. Deltech Manufacturing has produced these caps for the outdoor lighting industry for more than 40 years. It protects the pole interior from weather ingress. The durable plastic construction resists degradation from sun exposure.

Simple Snap-In Installation

Installation requires no tools beyond pressing the cap into the pole top where the metal straps engage automatically. This frees up time on site and eliminates the need for adhesives or fasteners. The design works across plastic or metal posts. It leaves the pole exterior clean with no protruding hardware.

Questions about this item

Will this 6" round pole cap fit over the 5-5/8" inner diameter of my existing fence posts?

Yes, the cap fits 6" round tubing with an inner diameter ranging from 5-1/2" to 5-7/8", so a 5-5/8" post falls within that range.

How can I confirm the cap is properly seated and locked after snapping it onto the pole?

The cap locks into place with its specially designed metal straps; you will feel a positive snap and the cap should sit flush without wobble.

Does the package include the metal locking straps, or must they be purchased separately?

The metal straps are built into the cap design, so no separate hardware is needed for installation.
