Blue buffing compound for solid plastic

Dico 529-PBC-B is a blue polishing compound supplied in a clamshell. It is formulated for use on solid plastic surfaces and requires only a small amount to achieve the desired finish. The product is intended for automotive detailing and restoration tasks.

Minimal residue and low heat buildup

The compound generates little residue during normal buffing operations, keeping the work area clean. Low friction reduces heat buildup on the plastic surface, preventing warping or discoloration. Power draw depends entirely on the polishing tool used.

Questions about this item

How do I apply the 7.5 in blue compound to a solid plastic surface without using too much?

Press the spinning buffing wheel lightly against the bar for just a second; only a thin smear is needed to start polishing solid plastic effectively.

When will the 7-1/2 x 3-11/16 x 1-1/2 inch bar need replacing?

Replace it once the bar has worn down so far that it no longer transfers a visible blue film to the wheel during a brief touch.
