Proprietary DIRECTV Power Supply

The DIRECTV EPS44 is a proprietary 12 Volt, 4 Amp power supply built for DIRECTV H44, HR44 and HR54 Genie receivers. It carries the original green-label branding and replaces every EPS44Rx-xx variant including EPS44R1-01, EPS44R2-13, EPS44R3-01, EPS44R3-14, EPS44R3-15 and EPS44R3-08. The unit weighs .7500 and ships in black.

Ideal for DIRECTV Genie owners

This supply suits anyone restoring power to a compatible DIRECTV Genie receiver using the original EPS44 connector. It will not work with receivers that require a different voltage, amperage or proprietary plug, so buyers needing a universal AC adapter or a supply for non-DIRECTV equipment should look elsewhere.

Direct replacement in a Genie setup

The EPS44 plugs straight into the receiver's dedicated power port, eliminating the need for adapter cables or third-party bricks. Its fixed 12 Volt output frees the installer from matching voltage selectors, and the single-cord design keeps the cabinet tidy. Ensure the receiver model matches the H44, HR44 or HR54 series before installation.

Questions about this item

Does the EPS44 include the power cord, or must I supply my own?

The unit comes with a high-quality power cord rated at 12 volt, 4 amp, so no separate cord is required.

Will this supply work with an older HR44 that currently uses an EPS44R2-13 brick?

Yes, it directly replaces every EPS44Rx-xx variant including the EPS44R2-13, so the HR44 will power up without changes.

How can I confirm the EPS44 is delivering power once connected?

The green label on the original equipment brick lights up when the supply is operating correctly.
