Universal remote for DirecTV

The DIRECTV RC32 is a universal infrared remote designed to replace the original handset supplied with DirecTV satellite receivers. It is intended for viewers who want a single controller for their satellite box and up to three additional home-entertainment devices.

Replaces lost or worn DirecTV remotes

This unit substitutes a missing or damaged factory remote without requiring a separate universal brand. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original remote no longer responds, when buttons stick, or when consolidating control of a TV, VCR and DVD player into one handset simplifies daily use.

Works with DirecTV receiver menu setup

The remote pairs with the DirecTV receiver through its on-screen menu, where TV codes are looked up and entered. It frees the coffee table from multiple remotes and needs only standard AAA batteries and line-of-sight to the receiver and other components.
