DIRT DEVIL SD20000RED stick vacuum 16 ft cord 10.25 lbs

Stick vacuum with 16 ft cord

The Dirt Devil SD20000RED is a corded stick vacuum weighing 10.25 lbs. It operates on rugs and hard floors and converts to a handheld unit for furniture, counters and drapes. The bagless dirt cup empties without replacement bags. An on-board crevice tool reaches corners and tight edges.

Sustained cleaning without battery fade

Because the vacuum draws power from a 16 ft cord, suction remains constant for the entire cleaning session. There is no battery to recharge or replace, so performance does not decline as the job continues. The lightweight frame reduces fatigue when moving between rooms or up and down stairs.

Limits of a corded stick design

The 16 ft power cord sets the maximum reach from a single outlet, requiring a new socket for larger areas. The SD20000RED is not for buyers who want cordless freedom or a larger dirt capacity for whole-house cleaning without stopping to empty. It also lacks a motorised brush roll for deep carpet agitation.
