Wall-mount PoE surge protector

The DITEK DTK-WM4NETS is a four-channel wall-mount surge suppressor built for Power-over-Ethernet lines. It protects network equipment from transient voltages on data and power conductors. Installers use it to safeguard access points, cameras and VoIP endpoints in commercial or industrial environments.

45 V clamping per line

Each RJ-45 channel clamps at 45 V and the unit handles 144 VA total, defining the energy it can absorb during a surge event. Buyers who need higher clamping voltages or greater VA capacity for longer runs should select a different model.

Questions about this item

What does the 144 VA rating mean for my connected PoE devices?

The 144 VA rating indicates the maximum apparent power the protector can handle across all four channels, ensuring your PoE equipment stays within safe operating limits during a surge event.

How do the RJ-45 ports handle data speed and PoE power simultaneously?

Each of the four RJ-45 ports passes both Ethernet data and Power over Ethernet through the protection circuitry, clamping excess voltage on all pairs without limiting the negotiated PoE class or link speed.
