Planet-9 Mood Lamp for Bedside or Desk

The Divoom Planet-9 is a green table lamp that works as both a morning light and a night light. It offers 1.6 million RGB colours and dims from 20% to 100% brightness. A free app lets you set the colour for each individual LED. The metal cabinet houses a built-in microphone for music visualisation.

Suits App-Controlled Ambience Seekers

Buyers who want programmable light effects and a sound-reactive visualiser will like this lamp. It fits bedrooms and game rooms as a decorative accent. People who need a pure white reading light without colour mixing should look elsewhere. The 400 to 499 W input power rating also means it is not a low-energy portable option.

4.5 to 5 Hour Battery Charge Time

The internal 3.7 V battery takes between 4.5 and 5 hours to reach full charge. This single figure decides whether the lamp can run through your evening routine without a cable. If you need longer unplugged operation, this model will not meet that requirement.
