Low-Voltage Battery Protector

The DIXSG 12V-36V DC module monitors battery voltage and uses a relay to disconnect the load when a preset threshold is reached. It suits lead-acid, lithium-ion and solar-panel batteries in off-grid or backup systems. The pack contains two identical units for protecting separate banks or providing a spare.

Adjustable Cut-Off with 8 A Limit

The board accepts 12 V to 36 V input and trips at a user-defined voltage with a default 12 V disconnect and 2 V hysteresis. Accuracy is ±0.1 V. The miniaturised relay and thin traces restrict continuous current to 8 A above 12 V and 10 A below 12 V, so it cannot handle high-draw inverters or starter motors.

Compact Board for Custom Enclosures

Each unit measures 57 x 42 x 19 mm and consumes minimal standby power. Settings survive power loss and can be reset to factory defaults by holding both buttons at power-on until 888 appears. The relay only switches the load; it does not regulate voltage, so a separate charger or regulator is still required.
