DJI 4K 12MP USB 2.0 Webcam

The DJI 4K 12MP webcam is a USB 2.0 video capturing device built for video conferencing, live streaming and remote work. It uses a 1/2.5-inch CMOS sensor rated at 12MP to deliver up to 1080p video capture. Dual built-in microphones handle audio, and an 86° wide-angle lens fits more into the frame. The package includes a 16-button remote for hands-off control during sessions.

USB 2.0 bandwidth and hybrid zoom limits

The USB 2.0 interface caps sustained throughput, so 4K output at 3840 pixels is not supported for live streaming; the sensor records 4K locally to an SD card instead. Hybrid zoom reaches 9x only when the output is set to 1080p or 720p, with selectable steps at 1x, 3x, 6x and 9x. PDAF autofocus tracks during zoom changes, but the widest 4K mode does not offer the zoom range. Audio is captured in MP4 format alongside AVI or MP4 video containers.

1080p live output with 9x hybrid zoom

The decisive specification is the maximum live streaming resolution of 1080p combined with 9x hybrid zoom at that resolution. Buyers who need 4K real-time output over USB should look elsewhere, as the USB 2.0 link restricts live feed to 1080p while 4K files are written to the SD card slot. The 16-button remote manages autofocus, zoom, brightness and colour without interrupting the stream.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1080p or 4K setting for my calls?

The camera streams up to 1080p over USB 2.0; the 3840 pixel 4K mode is available for local recording to the SD card slot.

What does the 12MP sensor actually deliver on a video call?

The 1/2.5-inch CMOS sensor outputs 1080p video at 12MP still resolution, with PDAF autofocus and auto light correction for a clear 86° wide-angle image.

Will USB 2.0 limit the 4K capture or 9x zoom?

USB 2.0 caps live streaming at 1080p; 4K 3840-pixel capture and 9x hybrid zoom at 1080p or 720p are recorded to the SD card instead.
