DJI AC27 wearable 4K POV camera

The DJI AC27 is a compact 4K 30fps video capturing device built for creators who want a lightweight first-person perspective. It records 150° ultra-wide footage onto an included 64GB card and offers a 1.47" screen for instant playback. Magnetic mounting lets you attach it to clothing or gear without a separate rig.

Magnetic mount and Wi-Fi app control

A built-in magnetic mount means the camera clips on and off in seconds, keeping the lens pointed where you look. The 1.47" display shows framing and lets you delete clips on the spot. Wi-Fi connects to the Viipulse app on iOS or Android for remote preview and settings changes when the camera is out of reach.

Upgrade from fixed wide-angle action cams

Swapping a fixed-mount action camera for the AC27 adds native 9:16 vertical recording for TikTok and Reels without post cropping. The jump is worth it when you need quick vertical clips and a screen for solo framing, but buyers who want image stabilization or 4K in portrait mode should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What practical speed limit does the USB 2.0 interface impose when offloading footage?

The USB 2.0 interface caps wired data transfer at its standard rate, so moving large 4K files from the 64GB card to a computer takes longer than with faster USB versions.

What mounting method does the camera use and what surface does it need?

A magnetic mount is included, which requires a ferromagnetic surface or the supplied metal plate to hold the camera securely in a wearable POV position.

How do you start recording and which button sequence is often missed?

Press the power button to turn the camera on, then press the record button to begin capture; users often forget the second press and assume the camera records immediately on power-up.
