Cellular Trail Camera for Remote Monitoring

The DJI Cellular Trail Camera connects through built-in 4G LTE across major U.S. carriers without requiring Wi-Fi or a separate SIM card. It is designed for property owners, wildlife observers and site managers who need live video access from locations beyond broadband reach.

Upgrade from Memory-Card-Only Cameras

Replaces trail cameras that store footage locally and require physical card retrieval. The jump is worth it when you need instant motion alerts, remote 2K live streaming and two-way audio without visiting the device, especially across farms, construction sites or vacation homes.

1080p Recording with 2K Live View

Captures video at up to 1080p and streams at 2K while panning 336° and tilting 90°. Low-glow 850 nm infrared reaches 65 ft at night. Motion-triggered clips arrive in .2 seconds. Continuous 24/7 recording and auto-tracking are not supported, and the unit works only within the United States.

Questions about this item

How does the camera mount and what pan and tilt range does it need?

The unit provides 336° pan and 90° tilt for full coverage, so it requires a stable pole or wall bracket that allows unrestricted rotation in both axes.

What is the correct way to activate the cellular connection and which step is often missed?

Power the camera on and wait for the built-in 4G LTE SIM to automatically lock onto the strongest U.S. carrier signal; the step users skip is confirming the subscription is active before expecting live streaming.

Which parts will need replacement over time and at what intervals?

The microSD card used for local recording and the solar panel battery pack are the only consumables; plan to swap the card when full and the battery pack every few seasons.
