DJI N680P 1080p 60FPS Video Capturing Device

The DJI N680P is a USB 2.0 video capturing device designed for streaming, conferencing and recording at up to 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second. It connects to Windows or Mac systems without additional drivers and includes a built-in stereo microphone with noise reduction for clear audio capture.

Privacy Cover and Software Control

A physical privacy shutter slides over the lens to block the camera when not in use. The device supports MP4, AAC, MP3 and PCM codecs for video and audio encoding, and the manufacturer highlights customizable settings accessible through software for adjusting image parameters such as white balance and low-light correction.

1080p 60FPS Over USB 2.0

The single specification that decides suitability is the 1080p 60FPS output delivered through a USB 2.0 interface. Buyers needing 4K resolution, higher frame rates at 4K, or a faster USB 3.0 connection for lower latency or higher bandwidth should consider other devices.

Questions about this item

Does the USB 2.0 interface on the N680P need any driver installation or firmware updates after the first plug-in?

The webcam is plug-and-play on Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 and Mac, so no driver or firmware steps are required after the initial connection.

What limits the frame rate during a long streaming session on this 1080p model?

The sensor and encoding are fixed at 1080p 60 fps, so the frame rate will not drop below that ceiling as long as the host USB 2.0 port supplies stable power.

How much heat or fan noise does the N680P produce when it runs continuously for hours?

The unit has no fan and draws power only from the USB 2.0 port, so it stays silent and only warm to the touch during all-day operation.
